Terms of Service

Last updated: May 26, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Rankett service, the rankett.com website, the Rankett service at fulfillment.rankett.com, and the Rankett Publisher WordPress plugin. By using any of these, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing rankett.com, signing up for the Rankett service, or installing and activating the Rankett Publisher WordPress plugin, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service or the plugin.

2. Description of service

Rankett provides done-for-you SEO content fulfillment for marketing agencies and their clients. Content is produced by Rankett and delivered to client websites primarily through the Rankett Publisher WordPress plugin. Deliverables include blog posts, schema markup, FAQ structured data, internal linking, and related supporting content.

3. Rankett Publisher plugin license

The Rankett Publisher WordPress plugin is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL v2+), in accordance with WordPress.org plugin directory requirements. You are free to use, modify, and redistribute the plugin code under those terms.

The plugin connects to a hosted Rankett service to receive content. Use of the hosted service requires an active Rankett subscription tied to a valid connection key. The plugin itself remains usable without an active subscription, but it will not receive content from the hosted service until a valid key is configured.

4. Acceptable use

When using the Rankett service or the plugin, you agree not to:

  • Resell, sublicense, or repackage the Rankett hosted service as your own service offering without a written reseller agreement.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the hosted service or its APIs.
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with rate limits, authentication, or any other security mechanism.
  • Use the service to publish content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful.
  • Share connection keys publicly or use a single connection key across sites not authorized by the associated agency account.

5. Content ownership

Content that Rankett generates and delivers to your client site is yours. You are free to use, modify, edit, or delete it at any time. Rankett retains no ownership rights to the content once it has been published on your site. Schema markup, internal links, and FAQ data deployed by the plugin similarly belong to you.

6. Service availability

We target 99 percent uptime on the hosted service on a best-effort basis. The service is provided on an as-is basis and we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, and unforeseen technical issues may cause temporary unavailability.

7. Subscription and billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance at the rate published at rankett.com. Payment is processed by Stripe. Pricing tiers and deliverable counts are described on rankett.com and in your agency agreement. Failed payments may result in service suspension until the account is brought current.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the service at any time. On termination, polling and content delivery stop, but all content previously published to a client site remains in place. Rankett does not remove, retract, or disable content that has already been deployed. You retain the right to keep, modify, or delete that content as you see fit.

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, non-payment, or activity that threatens the integrity of the service.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The service and the plugin are provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, that any specific search ranking or AI mention outcome will be achieved, or that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rankett, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service or the plugin. In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid to Rankett in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
